At the Board of Education meeting on August 13, 2024, Assistant Superintendent of Business and Finance, Stacey Mallek, presented the tentative budget for the 2024-2025 school year to the Board of Education.

B. Administrator Compensation Report Public Act 96-0434
According to Public Act 96-0434, “on or before October 1 of each year, each school district in the State shall post on its Internet website, if any, an itemized salary compensation report for every employee in the district holding an administrative certificate and working in that capacity, including the district superintendent. This report shall be presented at a regular school board meeting, subject to applicable notice requirements."

C. Administrator and Teacher Salary & Benefit Report 2024
According to Public Act 97-0256, all school boards must report to the State Board of Education, on or before October 1 of each year, the base salary and benefits of the district superintendent and all administrators and teachers employed by the school district. For the purposes of this Section, "benefits" includes without limitation vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements.
Prior to this annual reporting to the State Board of Education, the information is supposed to be presented at a regular school board meeting, subject to applicable notice requirements, and then posted on the Internet website of the school district.

D. Data Sharing Agreement with Township High School District 214
Arlington Heights School District 25 would like to form a collaborative data-sharing partnership with Township High School District 214 to enhance student transitions and improve educational outcomes. The agreement presented formalizes data-sharing practices between the two districts, enabling District 25 to provide District 214 with valuable insights into students' academic experiences prior to their transition.
By sharing data, both districts aim to:
- Improve instruction: Conduct a joint data study to identify areas for improvement in District 25's curriculum and instruction.
- Ensure appropriate supports: Continue to provide necessary learning supports for special education and English language learners.
- Evaluate student preparedness: Assess the relationship between student preparedness in District 25 and their subsequent educational outcomes in District 214.
- Monitor student progress: Track the progress of District 25 graduates in District 214 to inform future instructional adjustments.
This partnership will strengthen the educational continuum for students, ensuring a smooth transition and maximizing their potential for success.
