Hello Primary Pups!
A Note from Mrs. Bagarozza (Mrs. B)
Hello Primary Pup Families,
It is officially September and the 24-25 school year is about to begin! I hope you all enjoyed a lovely summer and a great Labor Day weekend. Please remember that tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th is the WPS Orientation. Students in the 8:15 AM session (3H and 3F) will attend the 9:30 am orientation on 9/4. Students in the 12:00 PM session (4H and 4F) will attend the 10:30 am orientation on 9/4. Please remember that the WPS orientation is for both parents and students. If you have questions about what session your child is in, please call the main office at 732.556.2114 or email sbagarozza@wallpublicschools.org or tdistefano@wallpublicschools.org. You do not need to bring anything but yourself, your child, and your phone to capture the memory with a photo (please ensure to take photos of your child ONLY).
As you may or may not know, WPS was under construction this summer. Our parking lot was recently repaved and all of the bathrooms were redone. It looks fabulous and we are excited for everyone to see these excellent improvements.
Your child's teacher assignment was made available on Genesis last week. You need to have a Genesis account and complete the mandatory district forms in order to access this information. If you are having difficulty with Genesis or have questions about the forms, please do not hesitate to reach out.
When you come to orientation tomorrow, 9/4, be sure to check out our WPS PTA table. We encourage all of our families to participate in this great organzation by joining, attending meetings, and if able, volunteering at PTA sponsored events. Please find the PTA meeting dates for September through December listed below. These meetings are all offered virtually to best accommodate WPS families. There will be a online form to sign up and information about membership fees and meetings will be available at orientation.
Please note that first day of school for WPS is Thursday, September 5th, one day later than the rest of the district. We are all very excited for another PAWsitively exciting year!
Sincerely,
Samantha Bagarozza

Dear Wall Community,
Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We’re thrilled to continue our journey with The 7 Mindsets curriculum and are eager to build on the success of our first year. Last year, we saw fantastic engagement through counselor-led classroom lessons, morning announcements, parent newsletters, and staff workshops, all designed to celebrate and reinforce each mindset. To get a comprehensive view of what we achieved, please take a moment to watch the presentation linked HERE and posted on our District website.
This year, we are excited to deepen our commitment with continued instruction and new initiatives. Our plan includes:
School-wide activities to help students apply positive mindsets.
“Wellness in the Works” parent newsletters.
Monthly “Mindset Showcase” at Board of Education meetings to highlight our progress.
Wellness Webinars for students in grades 3-8, facilitating real-time, grade-level discussions.
A new 9th-grade transitional curriculum aligned with the mindsets.
Student leadership opportunities, known as Mindset Mentors.
Enhanced curricular connections through classroom instruction.
We will kick off the new year focusing on the mindset, EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE. Join us for our first Mindset Showcase on September 17th during the Board of Education meeting at 7:00 PM at Wall Intermediate School.
Additionally, we remind you to join us at our first Family Night on September 5th from 5:30-7:00 PM at West Belmar School. Family Night is an opportunity for parents and children to socialize over dinner, win prizes, and learn about a topic aligned with health and wellness. The topic of September 5th is WE ARE CONNECTED: Parent Partnerships & School Supports. Please use this link HERE to learn more about the evening and reserve your spot at Family Night.
Looking forward to another impactful year together!
Warm regards,
