School Improvement Plan 24-25
School Improvement Plan 24-25
Our school is chasing highly effective and engaging tier 1 instruction through our non-verbal engagement strategies (STC Ways), which includes the 10 & 2 instructional strategy. We are looking to increase student achievement for all students by moving from a knowledge of our students to valuing our students for who they are and what they bring to our school community.
We commit to:
- excellent instruction through universal use of three of our nine LSSD instructional strategies
- strengthening the effectiveness of our Collaborative Educator teams
- achieving equitable outcomes for each student through effective use of Student Growth Goals
By committing to these things, we will achieve the following:
- ELA goal -- We will move from 67.4% (2024) of our 3rd-5th students meeting the "Consistent Grade-level Knowledge to 80% as measured by our 2025 SBA results.
- Math goal -- We will move from 67.7% (2024) of our 3rd-5th students meeting the "Consistent Grade-level Knowledge to 80% as measured by our 2025 SBA results.
- SEL/climate and culture goal -- We will increase our students' sense of belonging as reported via our Panorama survey in spring 2025 from 67% (2024) to 80% (2025).
We will monitor our progress during the year through:
We will utilize data cycles to track academic progress via iReady and classroom-based data that will occur in September and February as CET teams and support specialists, and by data collection on student interests throughout the school year to better value each student. We will also monitor data via progress monitoring on a regular basis during our team morning meetings. Together, this will lead to greater levels of student success.
Our Tier One Strategies -- we commit to excellent instruction through the universal use of
Non-verbal engagement strategies via STC Ways, along with growing knowledge of our students in order to meet individual needs of students during tier 1 instruction.
Collaborative Educator Team Work
Utilizing data cycles and data collection of our students will allow us to meet the needs of each students via our collective efficacy. Weekly morning meetings will provide teams with touch points along the way to adjust planning and execution of student goals for improvement.
We will achieve equitable outcomes for students using Student Growth Goals......
CET teams will try out different formative strategies that provide specific, timely feedback to the most important consumers of this data- our students, so that they are empowered to make real-time adjustments to their learning. Successes will be celebrated, along with mistakes- seen as opportunities for growth!
