Free and Reduced Meal Application
It is very important to fill out the free and reduced meal application for Fulton Public Schools. We have been fortunate during the 2020-21 school year to offer free meals to everyone. However, for the 2021-2022 school year beginning in August, an application and qualification will be required.
Typically, the first 30 days of the school year are covered by the previous school year’s application for free and reduced meals. If you did NOT fill out an application for 2020-21, payment will begin on the first day of school, August 25, unless you fill out the 2020-21 application NOW and qualify. This status will be honored for the first 30 days of the 2021-22 school year or until your 2021-22 application is processed.
In NO way will your child be identified as a recipient of free or reduced-price meals. FPS uses a fingerprint scanner for everyone receiving a meal which makes the process confidential.
If you qualify, benefits other than free meals include:
- 2 Free ACT waivers
- Waivers for College Application fees
- More Scholarship opportunities
- Reduced or free Preschool Tuition
The application can be found at https://www.fulton58.org/pages/uploaded_files/21%20Free-Reduced%20Price%20Meal%20Application.pdf
Printed copies can be found in each school office and at Central Office located at 2 Hornet Drive. Please return the application to your child’s school as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please call the Food Service Department at 573-590-8045.
