A TIME TO BE THANKFUL!
Dear WES Family,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for each of you. This semester, you have truly embodied our theme, *"We Before Me,"* in everything you do.
Your commitment to growing in your role as an educator (professional or paraprofessional) has been evident in the energy and passion you bring to your work every day. Whether it’s learning and implementing the Second Step SEL curriculum, Eureka and Amplify curriculum or creating meaningful learning experiences, your dedication has not gone unnoticed.
Through morning circles, tutorials, and a focus on students’ social, emotional, and academic growth, you have shown what it means to care for the whole child. Your leadership and participation in community engagement events have strengthened our school’s connection with families, creating a space where everyone feels valued and supported.
This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for our incredible team. You inspire our students and each other to reach new heights, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
Wishing you and your families a joyful and restful holiday filled with love and gratitude.
Warmly,
Venitra Senegal
Wharton Elementary Principal
