EHT Fine and Performing Arts

Our staff and students in Egg Harbor Township Schools are keeping busy creating, performing and responding to the Arts with an emphasis on Student Achievement, Community Engagement and #EHTPRIDE

Students from our Choir/Musical Theater classes at Fernwood Middle School presented their 3rd annual Night of Musical Theater!

Our young musicians entertained the audience with songs and scenes with a variety of music from the stage and scene.

Special thanks to our EHTHS guest performers and student assistants Rebecca Makres and Ethan Forman for your talents and for mentoring our aspiring stars. Thanks also to our sound tech for the evening, Mr. Kropinack.

Finally, thank you to our Fernwood Choral/Musical Director Mr. Guerrasio (aka “Mr. G”) for once again, giving his students this entertaining opportunity! #ehtpride

A GREAT Day for the Arts in EHT!

Congratulations to the HUNDREDS of students who performed in the All-District 5th-6th & 7th-12th grade Festival Orchestras!

We are so proud to live in a Township that is so supportive of the arts!

Thank you to our Orchestra Directors: Ms. DiSalvio, Ms. Wyatt and Ms. Sara for all your hard work preparing the students and organizing this meaningful event!

Thanks also to EHT Technical Advisor (and Orchestra Alumni) Jim House and EHTTV Director Alan Vargas for supporting the operations of the concert!

We are also grateful for our awesome Transportation and Facilities departments, who helped get our students from all over the district into the building and into chairs and stands!

A Great (Professional Development) Day for the Arts in EHT!

Our elementary and middle school art teachers had an awesome, art-filled day learning 5 different print-making techniques. A huge thank you to Noyes Arts Garage in A.C. for this amazing opportunity. #ehtpride

A Great Day of Professional Development in the Arts in EHT!

Thanks to University of Delaware Band Director Heidi I Sarver, who joined our music faculty for our 2nd annual conducting workshop at the District PD Day!

Congratulations to the Cast, Crew, Orchestra and Directors of the EHTHS production of Chicago! The sights, the sounds the sets and the STUDENTS were professional, entertaining and exciting!

Congratulations to the EHTHS Indoor Percussion, who placed 1st out of 17 schools at the Mid Atlantic percussion Society competition held in Unionville, Pennsylvania. (score sheet in comments)
