As the school year comes to a close, we are preparing to create classes for the 2025-2026 school year. Lin Howe is fortunate to have highly qualified, incredible teachers! While each classroom structure may be slightly different and each teacher has their own personality, we invest a lot of time and consider many factors when creating classes.

Providing parent input is optional. Your child’s current teacher, our inclusion teachers, and our support team will be involved in the process of creating classes for the 2025-2026 school year and will utilize all of the knowledge they have acquired about your child as a student and as a person when placing them for next school year.

If you wish to submit input, please complete this form and submit it no later than Friday, May 2nd at 3:30pm.

The creation of classes is a dynamic task involving many factors including, but not limited to student learning styles, student/teacher personalities, student-student dynamics, academic achievement levels, English Language Levels, and gender. It is our goal to create balanced classes which meet all of our students’ needs.

Yearbooks are On Sale NOW until Friday, May 2nd!

2024-25 yearbooks are available to order NOW until Friday, May 2nd!

Here are the three ways to order your yearbook:

1. ONLINE

We're using a new yearbook vendor this year. You'll have an option to create an account or check out as a guest.

2. PAPER FORM

We will send paper forms home with students this week (also attached to the email). Have your student return the form with cash to their teacher OR drop it off at the front office. Make sure to clearly write your child's name, grade, teacher's name and number of yearbooks.

3. IN PERSON

Order a yearbook in person on Thursday, 5/1 or Friday, 5/2 outside the kinder gate and main gate during morning drop off. We will accept $25 in cash (EXACT CHANGE ONLY PLEASE) or credit cards. NO CHECKS!

The last day to purchase a yearbook is Friday, 5/2/25.

Yearbooks will be delivered to school in early June and passed out by their teachers!

We need YOUR help selecting the movie for the FINAL Family Fun Night of the year! Please have your child vote for the movie they would like to see most by Friday, May 2! Vote HERE!

Linwood Howe is keeping plastic film out of landfills with Ridwell this spring! To participate in this limited-time recycling drive and celebrate Earth Month, bring plastic film (ziptop bags, grocery bags, bubble wrap, and lots more) to school on April 8th - May 6th and drop it in the blue bins by the entrance. Ridwell will make sure it stays out of landfills. It’ll be turned into new decking materials instead! Start collecting plastic film at home now so you have a bunch for the drive.

Curious about at-home recycling pickup from Ridwell? They collect hundreds of common household items you can’t recycle curbside, like plastic food packaging, lightbulbs, clothes, Styrofoam, and more. If you sign up for a household membership by May 23, you’ll also help earn pickup of the school’s plastic film for all of the ‘25/’26 school year (when 10 new members sign up).
