Hello Lester Families,

We enjoyed a great night with McTeacher Night! We loved seeing so many families together to support our school. We also had our PTA meeting for the month. Thank you to all who attended. We are so lucky to have such an involved PTA!

It was also nice to see all of the activities in the building to honor our Veterans. Students all took time to go outside and place flags in the ground and many wrote cards to mail to veterans. Thank you to all of our Lester and Downers Grove community veterans! We appreciate you!

We always have so many generous Lester families who want to support others. Here is a great way to help local families! Please be sure to participate in our "Pie in the Face" Fundraiser. The more we raise, the more we can help local families in need over the holidays. We are truly grateful to you all for your generosity.

As a reminder, Picture retakes and club photos are happening on Monday.

We are so excited to bring back The Lester Variety Show for the third year!

This year the show will be held January 26, 2025 at Downers Grove North High School at 4:00pm.

We are also looking for 4-6 outgoing 6th graders to Emcee the show!

Friday, December 13: Winter Wiggle in the gym (all day- each class will have a 30 min turn)

Monday, December 23- Friday, January 3: NO SCHOOL-Winter break (school resumes Monday, Jan 6)
