However, please do not park in the lot closest to the car pool line unless you plan to get out of your car and escort your child across the car pool line at the designated crosswalk. Students are not permitted to cross the car pool line without you.

ADJUSTMENT to ATTENDANCE FOR Face to Face and Virtual -VERY IMPORTANT!

National PTA Reflections "I Matter Because"
The Reflections Program provides an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. This year’s theme is “I Matter Because” and young artists may submit an entry in any of these six areas: Visual Arts, Photography, Literature, Music Composition, Dance Choreography, and Film Production. All entries are due by 9 a.m. on October 16th and should be turned into the Front Desk or outside of the Media Center. Students may enter more than one category, but each entry should have its own entry form attached. ENTRY FORM and OFFICIAL RULES BELOW.
The Georgia PTA has created a YouTube video highlighting examples of each category. For more information go to the GA PTA WEBSITE or if you have any questions, please contact Wendy Englehardt at wenglehardt@gmail.com.
Student Checkout Procedures
In an effort to avoid interrupting instructional time with the intercom, students need to bring a note designating the time that they should meet you in the front office. Notes should be brought to the front office in the morning for authorization. The signed note will allow your child to leave class at the designated time and meet you in the front office. If students do not have a note we will not call them to the office until parents are at the school to sign them out. (for example, we cannot call them out of class when you call from your car) For this reason, you may experience delays if your child does not have a note giving prior notification of early dismissal.
Your cooperation with our check in/out procedure will help keep classroom interruptions to a minimum and will get you on your way in a timely manner.
