Update from Ms. Ebert
Home access center
Home Access Center is a web-based portal for parents and guardians of Springfield Public School students to view student information online. The information available may include today’s attendance, monthly attendance , weekly classwork, classwork for the quarter, grades, test scores and transportation details. You can get log-in information for the school secretary. Something to keep in mind when using Home Access Center, is when changing your child's name to a nickname, this new name will show up for all the district programs. This includes testing websites, supportive learning software, and K-2 log-in QR codes. So, it might be helpful to keep the name unchanged or changed to what the teacher calls the student.
Library News from Mrs. Cox
Happy Dinovember! In the library, we’ll be reading fun books with dinosaurs in them.
We will also be designing pretty feathers with summaries of our favorite books, to place on our dinoturkey!
When a student turns in a dinoturkey feather, they may exchange it for a dino prize, until we run out of them.
Why join PTA?
The Pershing PTA advocates for the students and teachers of Pershing Elementary. This organization supports Pershing teachers through classroom grants, back to school gifts, providing meals during back to school and parent-teacher conference times. Our PTA provides funds for class field trips, and hosts many family events.
It costs $12.00 to join PTA. You are not obligated to donate your time just because you sign up. This small amount of money quickly adds up to support our small school. Grandparents and other family members are welcome to join and support the PTA! Each dollar goes toward Pershing Elementary.
Our Pershing PTA would love your involvement as much as you wish to help. This is a great way to show your child you support their school.
The next Pershing Elementary PTA meeting will be on Thursday, December 5th at 6pm.
A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR 2024-2025 BUSINESS SPONSORS!
