Such Charming Liars

In a world where disease has been eliminated, the only way to die is to be randomly 'gleaned' by professional reapers ('scythes'). Two teens compete with each other to become a scythe--then the one who becomes a scythe must kill the one who doesn't.
Allegedly
by Tiffany D. Jackson
A young girl, convicted of murder as a child, serves her sentence only to be placed in a group home, where, upon her release, she must grapple with starting over and an unplanned pregnancy.
14 Ways to Die

This month, our student-run book club will be reading The Wishing Game. Our first discussion will be held Monday, 5/19 at 7:15am in the library, and we will continue our discussion of this book with a second meeting on Tuesday 5/27 (same time, same place). Pick up your copy of the book and join us!
Our unofficial mascots have returned from their winter down south.
The Tea Room
The Groves Library Tea Room
In a continuing effort to provide a warm and welcoming environment for learning, connecting, relaxing, and rejuvenating, the Groves Library provides tea and hot cocoa to our visitors.
However, due to constraints around what our library can purchase with school district funds, we need your help! We would greatly appreciate donations of:
- Electric tea kettles
- Tea (any & all flavors -- including those opened boxes that just weren't your cup of tea!)
- Hot cocoa powdered mixes
- Sugar
- Honey
- Napkins
- Disposable cups for warm beverages
- Stirring sticks
Thank you!
Visit the circulation desk for coloring pages -- or join us at Coloring Club!

Ann Truesdell, Librarian
Jaime Sheena, Library Secretary
Mrs. Sheena is our Groves Library Secretary. Stationed at the circulation desk, she is happy to help students and staff with all of their circulation needs. Ask her about what she's reading; she has great book recommendations. She is also a wiz on the Cricut!

Scott MacKinnon, Technology Operations Assistant
Mr. MacKinnon is our Groves TOA. If you have any technology-related problem or question, he's your guy! His office is located in the school library. Fun fact -- Mr. MacKinnon is a Groves graduate!
