We only have 4 weeks of school remaining!
This is Teacher Appreciation Week!
Here are some ideas for Teacher Appreciation week to show your child’s teacher how much you appreciate them:
Monday - Stock the classroom: Bring your teacher things they need - wipes, sanitizer, books, tissues, crayons
Tuesday - Wear red on National Teacher Day (05.03.22)
Wednesday - Bring your teacher flowers!
Thursday - Write your teacher a note or draw them a picture letting them know how much they mean to you
Friday - Bring your teacher a treat for the weekend - a snack, gift card, or any gift of thanks
Field Day will be on May 5th for CPS. Parents are welcome to attend. We will be looking at the weather forecast this week to determine if we need to postpone it to another date. Right now our rain date is May 12th.
This semester we have started the Creekside House System. The House System is a dynamic, exciting, and proven way to create a positive climate and culture for students and staff. By using our House System, we will implement processes that build character, relationships, and school spirit.
We started our House System by separating our faculty and staff into 6 different houses. These 6 houses have unique characteristics and colors. The 6 houses are:
Altruismo - the house of givers
Isibindi - the house of courage
Rêveur - the house of dreamers
Nukumori - the house of kindness
Onraka - the house of unity
Sollevare - the house of uplifting
Last week @ Creekside we randomly sorted each student into their house! We are so excited to start our House System @ Creekside!
Kindergarten registration for next school year has started. We have registration information on our website. This will be an online registration. If you do not have internet access you can come to the school and we will provide computer access for you.
Just a reminder - we start school @ 7:35 and sometimes we still have a steady stream of cars @ 7:35. We start instruction at 7:35 and we need everyone already in class by this time. Please do your best to be on time.
