Concordia University

Concordia will be in the CCRC from 1-3:30 on October 27th to give information and help students apply. This is open to all Juniors and Seniors.

Catholic University Tucson

Catholic University has opened a new Tucson campus focused on Business degrees. They will be on campus to assist students with applications and provide snacks. Open to all Seniors

STEP Info Session

STEP equips low-income students with the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to successfully transition to college and attain a 4 year degree.


STEP will present information on their program and how to apply to Sophomores who have 3.5 GPA and meet income requirements. Check out their website for more information.

Event Information

Tucson College Night

Tucson College Night is a FREE event open to all TUSD Students. Students can meet College and University reps from around the nation, sign up for more information, and gather flyers and other materials.

PSAT Testing Tips

On October 25 ALL 9-11th graders will take the PSAT. 11th graders test scores will be used for scholarship consideration. In order to do your best here are some test tips:

  • Get a good night's sleep and eat a healthy breakfast
  • Bring a #2 pencil and a calculator if you have one
  • Pay attention to words like "always, never, all, and none"
  • Mark the test- you can write in your test books!
  • Check your work
  • Pace yourself so you don't run out of time
  • If you get stuck, skip the question and come back to it later

Senior Activities for PSAT Day

Hey Seniors, we didn't forget about you! Even though you are not testing on October 25th, we have lots of things for you to do!

Seniors will report to the cafeteria at 8am. We will be providing help with College and Scholarship applications, Civics Test, CPR, and APEX/Credit Recovery.


Please bring your laptop and charger

AP Test Registration Deadline

If you are taking an AP class and want to take the AP test to potentially earn college credit, you must register by November 1st. AP exams are $97 per exam or free for students who qualify for Free/Reduced Price lunch.

Students can fill out the form here and AP teachers will also send out the registration link. Please contact your AP teacher if you have questions.


Please note, AP fee holds were placed on all accounts of students in AP classes. If the student qualifies for the fee waiver, the fee hold will be removed. Please DO NOT Pay this fee if you believe you/your student qualifies for the fee wavier, as there are NO refunds.

Military Info Week

Tucson High will be hosting our Armed Services recruiters the week of October 14th. Recruiters will provide information on their branch, how to join the military, ASVAB prep suggestions, and answer questions. This is a great opportunity for all students to learn more about Military Service Careers. More info and sign ups will be coming soon.

Grades and Tutoring

By now you should have seen your 1st quarter grades on StudentVue and ParentVue. Please look them over. If you failed any classes and/or you are not happy with your grades, there is help!


Conference period and BPH are great ways to get tutoring and support from your teacher and make up missing work.


We also have afterschool tutoring available:
