TRANSPORTATION UPDATE!!
We have a new transportation app for student busing information! Traversa Ride 360 has been updated and rebranded to My Ride K-12. Your information from the previous app will transfer over, so you can use your same log in. First time? Create an account and search for our school districts under RB157NSD2. You'll also need your student's ID, found under the Student Info tab of Skyward.
Your student's bus route isn't changing, but make sure to download the new app now to ensure you have access to the most updated transportation information.

This month in music... Fifth Grade has finished their unit on Instrument families. We played Instrument Jeopardy and did a scavenger hunt! Fourth Grade continued working through recorder karate and earning as many belts as possible before summer break! Third Grade finished learning about dynamics and will start on an introduction to notes on the Treble Clef. This will help prepare them for learning recorders in fourth grade! Second Grade has been learning some different folk dances. First Grade has been learning to sing and play the solfege syllables Sol and Mi through the singing of songs, playing xylophones, and centers. Kindergarten has been singing songs that include a variety of percussion instruments.
All RGS Musicians in the final few weeks of school will be putting together their 2024-2025 Music Portfolio. This will include all of the different written classwork/activities they have completed in music this school year. I highly encourage you to ask them to see it so you can see all the progress they've made!
It has been an amazing year! I'm so proud of all the progress our RGS Musicians have made! As always, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to reach me using the information below. Have a happy and safe summer break! See you next school year!

Thank you so much for coming to Fine Arts Night. Your attendance was greatly appreciated and made it such a fun evening. Kindergarten and first-grade students are almost done with their flower pictures. They look great! Second and third-grade students are working hard on their drawing of a Robin. The fourth and fifth-grade students are learning about the art element value as they work on their landscape drawings. Thank you RGS students for making this school year a great one! Have a wonderful summer!
Thank you,
Mr. Ratts
