Why Volunteer?
Community Service, two hours, hard work, not getting paid... Volunteerism is seemingly not fun. I know what you are thinking -- why in the world would I volunteer my time, my energy, and my skills for something I am not getting paid for?
Hear me out -
What if there is more value in doing good for goods sake than there is in not receiving the monetary benefit. What if it is about helping others instead of seeking personal attainment. What if it is about looking beyond oneself and seeking growing as a person- internally and externally. This is what Community Service is all about. We want you to grow as a person not just academically but holistically. We want to develop scholars who not only shine in the classroom- but outside as well. We encourage you to seek out opportunities to help others! To seek to do good with no expectation of receiving anything in return.
