Principal's Update
Dear NBC Parents,
As we embark on the second semester, I encourage you to take a moment to check in with your student about their current grades and progress. This is a great time to celebrate their successes and identify any areas where they might need support. Please remember, our teachers are here to partner with you—don’t hesitate to reach out to them if you have any questions or concerns about your student’s academic progress.
Additionally, I want to remind you to review the school newsletter below. It’s packed with important dates, updates, and details about upcoming community events. Staying informed is key to supporting your student’s success and staying connected with our school community. Thank you for your continued involvement and support!
As always, if you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at 231-894-5617 or by email at perreaultj@mapsk12.org

Patriot's Pen Essay
3 of our 8th grade students had their essays chosen to go on to district level for the Patriot's Pen Essay. This VFW-sponsored youth essay competition encourages students to use their minds and knowledge of America’s history and their experience of today’s American society to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme.
Life Skills
Students in Mrs. Justian's Life Skills class have been enjoying some cooking lessons. This week, they made no-bake peanut butter bites. They love cooking but aren't very fond of the dishes that go along with it.
