From May 6th through the 16th, the World Language department welcomed 16 German teens on an exchange visit to our school. The German students come from our partner school, the Leibniz Gymnasium in Neustadt-adW, Germany. During the exchange, German students shadowed their Warren Central host student in classes. Other activities included a field trip to Conner Prairie to learn about Indiana history, a trip to Kings Island, and an American-style cookout. The German students were featured on WCTV Live and worked with upper level German students on peer interviews in German. It was a joy to see friendships form between the German and American students.

We hope to offer a trip for Warren Central students to travel to Germany and visit the Leibniz Gymnasium with a host family stay in June 2020. In the spring of 2021, we will again host German students and are always looking for families willing to host. Spanish Teacher, Mrs. Kuonen, is preparing to take a group of Spanish students to Costa Rica in June this summer. This is a great opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in the culture that they have been learning about. Please see the picture below from the 2017 trip.

• Graduation is set for WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5th!
• Buses for graduation rehearsal leave promptly at 8:45am from Lot 8 (east side of the football field) adjacent to the football field.
• Every Senior receives 10 tickets. The school does not sell extra tickets. Any person who is sitting in a seat needs a ticket to enter graduation.
• Graduation begins at 7:00pm. All graduates are expected to arrive to Banker's Life Fieldhouse by 6:00pm.
• You are NOT allowed to decorate your cap.
• Do NOT make any decisions that will prevent you from walking across the stage at Banker's Life.
• DIPLOMA PICK-UP: Friday, June 7th (9am-2pm) and Monday, June 10th (2-4pm)

All enrolled students in MSD Warren Township will receive free breakfast and lunch starting with the 2019-2020 school year. Additional meals and a la carte items will require payment.

This program is not related to Textbook Rental. If you wish to receive Free Textbook Rental next school year and you are not Directly Certified, you will still be required to complete a Textbook Rental application after July 1st either online or during your student's school registration.
