As we wrap up our first week of the new school year, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our parents for your support and enthusiasm. It has been a fantastic start, and I’m thrilled to share that our students have settled in wonderfully, embracing their new routines with excitement and curiosity. Our dedicated staff has been busy ensuring a smooth transition, and their efforts have truly paid off. We look forward to a year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences for our students. Thank you for being such an integral part of our Shepherd Elementary community. To create a safe and consistent dismissal for your student, changes to PikMyKid must be made prior to 2:15 pm. Teachers CAN NOT make changes to PikMyKid, you must do so yourself before 2:15 pm or you must call the office before 2:15 pm. Changes will not be made after 2:15pm.

Parents/Guardians of independent walkers please do not park in the parking lot of St. Vincent's Church on Maple Street. There is a parking lot on the corner of Wright Ave. and 5th St. that is available for parking.

If using car line pick up, please do not cut the line on 4th street. Access the end of the line via 3rd street.

Also, this year, we are asking families to complete the Education Benefits Form (one form per family). A paper copy was sent home with your students. You can also fill the form out online here: https://shepherd.familyportal.cloud/
