Housing Selection 2025-2026

The first step is to log-in to your HousingCloud portal, fill out the application information and sign your license agreement.

New this year

* All returning students (CURRENT RESIDENTS & CURRENT COMMUTERS), will apply through the same application!

* Premium Single Rooms will be offered in Chandler Village. These are double rooms offered as a single room - all are located in Chandler Village 3rd floor apartments and will be offered at an increased rate.

As soon as your group has all signed their License Agreements, one group leader will be able to send roommate requests and match for the Housing Selection Process.

For Housing Selection purposes, all Housing Selection matching must be completed by April 7th.

You will not be able to match with anyone who hasn't signed their License Agreement. Please check frequently with your group to assure all have signed the license agreement. You will not be able to ADD to your group after April 7th.

Roommate Matching can be with 9 additional residents, maxing out at a group of TEN total residents. We suggest having multiple options and configurations to have the most successful room selection process. There are only so many 10 person apartments in Chandler, only so many 6 person apartments in Wasylean, only so many 4 persons in Chandler/Wasylean and no 2 person apartments on campus.

Make a plan and then a back up plan.

All students who have completed Phase II: 'Sign Your License Agreement' will receive a room selection time via email on April 7th & 8th.

If you are in a Roommate Group, you should look to choose a GROUP LEADER as only one person will log in to complete the entire room/suite/apartment selection during physical room selection April 14th - April 17th.

Room Selection will be the week of April 14th - 17th. A reminder of your selection time will also be found in your HousingCloud portal, once the emails have been sent.

If you are in a matched roommate group, one member of your group, or the 'Group Leader' will be able to select for everyone. We advise the student with the earliest time select for the group. Once you have selected a room, you cannot go back into the room selection portal to adjust it. Please be prepared with who in your group will be roommates with who, what room each person will get and make sure to have a plan as no adjustments will be made.

ALL ROOM SELECTIONS ARE FINAL

Room Selection times are generated based on completed credits at the end of the Fall 2024 semester.

Once we determine completed credits everyone with that amount of credits is then randomized into selection times.

EXAMPLE 1:

Resident A has 15 COMPLETED CREDITS after Fall 2024 semester.

Resident B has 18 COMPLETED CREDITS after Fall 2024 semester.

Resident B will receive an earlier Room Selection time.

EXAMPLE 2:

Resident A has 45 COMPLETED CREDITS after Fall 2024 semester.

Resident B also has 45 COMPLETED CREDITS after Fall 2024 semester.

The computer will randomly generate these residents and determine their Room Selection time within the 45 completed credit time slot.

• Be Prompt: Log In at your designated time to select your room.

• Roommate Groups: If you are in a roommate group, the group leader (the person with the earliest time slot) will typically select the room for the entire group.
• Room Selection is Final: Once you select a room, you cannot change it.

This Wednesday, March 26th we will post all Sheehan Hall, Chandler Village & Wasylean Hall apartment types and breakdowns (how many singles, doubles, etc). This information will be posted on the Residence Life windows for your fall 2025 planning purposes.

New this year - We are offering premium singles in Chandler Village! All 3rd floor apartments will consist of single living only. They will be offered at a premium single rate.

We suggest having multiple options and configurations to have the most successful room selection process.

If you are a resident student with an approved housing accommodation for fall 2025/spring 2026 you should have received an email from Marina Casto, Assistant Director of Residence Life. If you believe you are an approved student for fall 2025/spring 2026 and did not receive an email, please reach out to Marina at marina.casto@worcester.edu, as soon as possible.

*please note that the housing accommodation process is a yearly process and if you are approved this year it does not automatically approve you for the next year*

We will provide more details as we get closer to the housing selection process, including timelines and instructions. Please be sure to keep up with your emails. If you miss room selection we cannot guarantee that you will receive a housing assignment that meets your approved accommodations.

Students with an accommodation are encouraged to review the email they received from Marina Casto for specific details.
