Lake Bluff Elementary School Family Newsletter
Hello Lake Bluff Families,
What an exciting week at Lake Bluff. We had many wonderful field trips. We are so fortunate that there are so many learning opportunities outside of school. A few of this week's highlights include the 3rd graders annual tradition of seeing The Nutcracker and more of our 5th graders to Peace Learning Center.
As the temperature is plummeting today, we are once again reminded how frigid the temperatures can get. Please make sure your student is dressed for weather including a winter jacket, snow pants, boots, waterproof gloves, and hat/scarf. We will go outside daily unless it is below zero degrees or raining.
Our student ambassadors have been brainstorming creative ways to make Lake Bluff an even better place. They are thrilled to have planned this year’s first Spirit Week, which will take place from December 16th to December 20th. Please see the schedule below.
Kind Regards,
Johanna French, Interim Principal
Meet our Staff
Every week we will try to showcase some important people that you may not know who contribute to the success of Lake Bluff.
Lilly Nuck
Ms. Nuck works for Milestones and supports our students during lunch and recess. When she isn't at Milestones, Ms. Nuck is a UWM student studying Community Education & Engagement. When asked what her favorite thing is about working at Milestones she said it was to watch children grow in small ways. I think that sentiment is what Lake Bluff is all about- what a wonderful addition to the team!
Ms. Nuck's Fun Fact: Ms. Nuck sang the National Anthem at a Brewer's Game.
