Eagle Rock Elementary Orientation Day, for grades K-5, will be held on Tuesday, September 3rd. Choose from 6 available sessions at 8:30am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, or 2:30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Help us celebrate Constitution Day by sending your student to school in red, white, and blue on September 17th.

Join us for a Back to School Night and Title I Presentation on Thursday, September 26th, from 5:00-6:30pm. Visit classrooms and enjoy a delicious ice cream bar in the last of the summer heat.

There are two drop-off and pick-up spots at Eagle Rock (regardless of student's grade level). The front parking lot (student entrance) and the back gate. Please be sure your child knows where they should meet you.

School hours are 8:15-3:05 pm

Morning Drop-Off Begins at 7:55 am. Students may choose to:

• Eat breakfast in the cafeteria
• Play on the playground
• Go to the Library

{Please do not drop your child off before 7:55 am. There is no student supervision.}

Students are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2024-2025 school year.

Each school year, EPSD9 offers an optional iPad Protection Plan to students and families. This annual Protection Plan is effective from the first day school starts to the day before school starts the following academic year. The cost for the Protection Plan is $25.00. There is a family cap of $100.00. The Protection Plan will provide coverage for repair or replacement on and off school grounds for incidents described below. Without the Protection Plan, students will be responsible for all repair or replacements costs.

If your student did not have the Protection Plan during the prior school year, their school for the current school year will need to verify the condition of the iPad prior to accepting the Protection Plan fee payment. Before the iPad is covered under the Protection Plan, the device must be inspected to ensure it's:

1. Operational: Demonstrate that the device powers on
2. Free of cracks on the screen: best to see this with the screen illuminated by an external light source with the screen powered off
3. The case is in fair condition without writing or pen marks and can protect the device (flap/keyboard attached during inspection)

Note: Cases/covers and case/cover parts (case frame and detachable keyboard (where applicable) that serves as a protective cover) should be accounted for at the inspection.

Eagle Rock Elementary would like to thank Mr. Brown, who crafted this lovely Little Free Library for the ERE community to enjoy, in honor of Virginia Brown. Please stop by to enjoy the books, and maybe leave one to share.

Main Street Coffee House is collecting back to school supplies for students in our community. If you would like to donate, they will be accepting donations through August 31st.

In addition to other school supplies, Main Street Coffee has collected 10 new Jansport backpacks which are being given to our students!
