Principal's Update
Hello Prairie View Families!
February is here and the days aren't slowing down any time soon! Our grades 3-4-5 students have recently completed their ILEARN Checkpoint 2 testing and they all did a great job!! We will have IREAD3 coming up for grades 2 and 3 shortly! Please make sure that you check communications from your student's teachers regarding any prep you can do as well as just continue to work at home having them read as much as they can. Class parties will be coming up for Valentines day and we have a few fun family nights planned as well to help make February a not so cold month! The e-learning schedule is also posted below so please make sure you take a look at that for any upcoming days where it may be needed. I hope that everyone is staying healthy, but if sickness does arise, please make sure that you communicate with the PV office staff to make sure we have the correct attendance and any medical notes on file that may be needed. As always, please reach out if you have any questions.
GO BOBCATS!!
Sincerely,
Mr. Kris Staats
Principal

Just as a reminder, if your child misses 3 consecutive days due to illness, a doctor's note is required upon return to school.

Smart Social Digital Resources
We are excited to announce that the New Prairie United School Corporation has recently partnered with SmartSocial.com for its on-demand resources for parents and students. SmartSocial covers a wide range of digital and social media topics that we feel are relevant to our students. We have purchased parent memberships for every parent in our district to give you access to these resources and help you learn how to navigate the negative (and positive) parts of social media with your students.
