HOWL Everyday with Harmony, Optimism, Wisdom & Leadership!
February 7, 2025 Head of School News & Notes
TGIF Timberwolves!
Today in your child’s folder, you will find the first progress report (report card) of the school year. Please take the card out, review it with your child and keep you copy. Please sign and return the report card envelope to your child’s classroom teacher stating you received and reviewed the report. These envelopes will be used again at the end of the school year. NWEA reports will be shared with families at parent teacher conferences in March.
The third graders will begin their Safety Around Water Program sponsored by TCAPS and the YMCA this next week. The program will run for the next five weeks. Please be sure to follow all of the instructions given to you from your child’s teacher.
Next week, we are also looking forward to our CASA and Lower Elementary make up music class informances. Parents are invited to attend this intimate peek inside the music classroom with our Lead Guide, Mrs. Cress Smith. Please arrive not sooner than 5 minutes before your classroom’s start time. You may gather in the front hall vestibule while you wait to be invited into the music room. We look forward to seeing you!
Stay safe this weekend,
Tracy
