We will also be beginning our Morning Learning session on October 7, 2019. From 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. your child can come to the cafeteria to work on Lexia or Zearn. Students can use this time to work on above grade level material or to catch up on skills. Look for the permission form in your child's backpack next week.
The first Principal's Coffee is this Friday, Sept. 6th at 8:30 a.m. in the lounge. I will have coffee and sweetbreads and am looking forward to talking with parents, both old and new!

MVEF NEWS
As the our schools wrap up their Back to School Nights, the Mountain View Educational Foundation (MVEF) hopes parents learned more about what school foundations add to their child's education. Neighboring cities, like Palo Alto and Los Altos, also rely on educational foundations to bring essential programs to their school districts. Here in Mountain View, that includes hands-on science, field trips, standards-based art and music lessons from Community School of Music and Arts, middle school athletics and more. A key to our district’s success is a vibrant PTA, a strong educational foundation and engaged parents like you! The colorful brochure you received at back to school night doubles as a donation envelope- making donating easy! Or you can donate online at mvef.org. Over 70% of our funding comes from parents like you!
