Before and After School 23-24 School Year
Enrollment for Champions throughout the 23-24 school year is open! There are SO many joining again next year, and I am excited to see more continue to join, as well! Below are some steps to help you enroll if you haven't already and intend to. Spots are filling up!
Steps to Enroll:
Click on 'Enroll Now'
It will prompt you to log in if you are not already logged in. If you don't yet have an account, you will need to create one first before moving to the next step.
- Once you've logged in, click on "Enroll Now" again
- It will ask you to create an account for your child if you currently don't have a child enrolled with Champions. If you do, simply select your child then hit "continue"
Under 'Select School Year', make sure it is set to "23-24"
Where it says "ZIP or City", type in the zip code 02119 and on the right side of the screen, select the Nathan Hale program, then hit continue
- You will see "PROGRAMS AVAILABLE" and it will show "CHAMPIONS", your child should already be selected so then hit continue
Once you select that, you will have the option to create a weekly schedule for your child (or children) and you will also have the option of choosing a start date for your child. Once you've completed that section, hit continue.
From there, it will ask you for your child's personal information or it will show you what you have already entered previously.
- Continue to follow the prompts on the screen until you have completed enrollment.

Social Worker Updates
Updates
Hello Nathan Hale Community,
I am honored to have served as the School Based Social Worker here at Nathan Hale Elementary, for two years. This experience has allowed me to grow both professionally and personally.
It is bittersweet to announce that I will be transitioning out of the School Based Social Worker position at Nathan Hale Elementary as of the start of the 2023-2024 school year. Excitingly, I will be transitioning into the School Based Social Worker position at Boston Latin School as of the start of the 2023-2024 school year.
My experiences here were wrapped in lots of love and centering community in my own core values, which I will forever be grateful for. Therefore, I want to extend my deepest gratitude for trusting me to serve as the School Based Social Worker and allowing me to be part of your village.
At this time, I have not informed the students of my transition but plan to do so at the start of next week (June 5, 2023); this will allow me ample time to process with students and give them a safe space to work through any feelings they may have regarding my transition.
Sincerely,
Kedist Abrha
