5:30-5:45: Principal Welcome and Address to Chamisa Community
5:45-6:15: Parents/Guardians go to Classroom Session #1 (30 Minutes)
6:15-6:25: Passing Period
6:25-6:55: Parents/Guardians go to Classroom Session #2 (30 Minutes)
6:55-7:00: Parents/Guardians dismissed…..Have a good evening!

Chamisa PTO Fall Fundraiser starts next week.
Look for participation permission forms in your students folders Wednesday and pick up your box of chocolate Thursday 8/30 at the Open House find us at the PTO booth.

No Pets on Campus 7:45am to 3:45pm
No Pets on Campus
Please do not bring pets onto campus between 7:45am and 3:45pm. We love pets and animals, but for the safety of students, and your pet, no animals should be on campus from 7:45am to 3:45pm. If you walk your pet to school to drop or pick your child, please be on the outside street sidewalk, or behind the gate on the walking path behind the school. Pets cannot be on school grounds while students are on campus.

Animals (Pets) and Service Animals on Campus
Families, please refrain from bringing your pets onto the school campus. Animals are not allowed on school grounds between the hours of 7:45am to 3:45pm. For the safety of students and the safety of the animals, please do not bring any pets onto campus during school hours.
Attention Chamisa Parents!!
We are looking for one more parent to represent Chamisa at LAPS parent council meetings. Jennifer Guy, LAPS Superintendent is holding monthly meetings with school parent representatives. If you are interested in being our Chamisa parent representative, please email Craig Washnok at c.washnok@laschools.net.
Please do not drop off or pick up students in the 2 handicapped parking spots. We have parents and staff who are handicapped that need those spots. LAPD will help monitor and fine anyone in those sports without a placard. Please don't park their unless you have a handicapped placard. It is a $300 fine if caught.
Parent are more than welcome to park anywhere in the parking lot or on Meadow Ln. to pick up or drop off their student(s)
