It’s easy to look at a child and know they are talking, walking and playing like they should be - their development is right on track. But what do you do when you are worried about development?
Gather information: What skills are strengths? What skills are missing that concern you?
Talk to the parents: Ask for their perspective on skills. Share what is going well. Let them know what concerns you. Tell them about the Early Development Network.
What is the Early Development Network? The early development network provides services to children (birth-3) and their families at no cost when there are concerns about development. These free services are available to all families through their school district.
