A Note from Mr. Schmidt

Dear St. Petronille families,

First of all, I want to offer a very sincere thank you to all of you for your flexibility when faced with the sudden inconvenience of the parish campus being closed to repair a leak. I appreciate the teachers for their quick thinking in preparing an unexpected e-learning day and our students and families for rolling with the punches today! It certainly was not the way we planned on spending the day, but it has been one more opportunity to witness the special qualities of our community.

Thank you as well to everyone who came to our PK-5 Curriculum Night on Tuesday of this week! We are always proud to have the opportunity to talk about our mission and our work with your children. It is an incredible gift that you entrust them to us to partner with you in their formation we hope that message came through loud and clear!

Our rescheduled Junior High Curriculum Night will be on Monday, September 9th. The Catholic high schools that planned to be present have graciously agreed to come Monday and the PLC will open at 6:30 PM to allow parents to get information about some of their child's high school options. Our program will begin at 7:00 in the PLC with classroom visits to follow beginning at 7:30. Given the circumstances of the rescheduled date, I am looking forward to using as many water, leak, and flood related puns and dad jokes as possible in my address! I hope to see everyone there!

Finally, we are looking forward to the Charger Classic Golf Outing on Friday, September 13th! We have a record number of golfers signed up to participate and we are looking forward to a wonderful afternoon and evening celebrating our community and raising some funds for our tuition assistance programs! Again, I can't wait to see everyone!
