From the Principal
We have no school on Monday, May 27th for Memorial Day
The last day of school this year is on Thursday, May 30th.
Shout out to our 5th graders for having an amazing time at Funway!
We had former Munhall students back at school on Monday for the legacy walk. It was a very special moment for staff and those high school students.
Thank you all for a fun spring and garden fitness event last Friday.

From the Health Office
Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we approach the end of the school year here are a few reminders. PLEASE READ
All students who currently have medications at school must have a guardian pick up the medication on 5/28 or 5/29 by the end of the day. A nurse will be in the building from 07:50-03:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday 5/28 & 5/29. If you need to pick up medication on the last day of school 5/30, an appointment is required to be made with the Health Office between 08:15 -10:45 am and 12:45 -02:00pm. After 02:00 pm all meds will be disposed of. We are not responsible for medications that are not picked up from school. We cannot store medicines over the summer.
If you would like your child to have access to their medication in the upcoming school year, you and your primary care provider must fill out a new medication form. Medication authorization forms, Life-Threatening allergy forms, and Asthma Action Plan forms are available on the D303 Website. Please click on this link to be taken directly to Health Services Forms.
Forms can be emailed directly to wendy.plach@d303.org
For appointments call 331-228-2604
Thank you,
Wendy Plach, RN, BS

FRIENDLY REMINDERS
Drop off and pick up
- If you are dropping off in the morning, please remember that you may also drop students off in the front of the building. The line on 13th gets longer throughout the winter, so this is always an option. Likewise, when you do not see any other Munhall staff outside please drive to the front of the building to drop your child off. We typically go in right around 8:00. The "why" for this is safety. Thank you for your understanding.
- When parking on 13th, please be mindful of all the cars that need to park and pick up kids. You do not need to take up two car spots to park. I know it can get tight with all the cars but all cars leave at different times and it always works out perfectly.
ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN SCHOOL
Phones/Smart Watches
From 22-23 Elementary Handbook: Students are extended the privilege of possessing phones/ smartwatches on school grounds; however, their use is limited to after-school dismissal and non-school days. These devices must be in the off position, or not used once the student arrives on campus until the end of the school day.
