Community Input Sought for Laura B. Sprague Principal

Dear Laura B. Sprague School Community,


We are beginning the search for the next principal of Laura B. Sprague School for the 2025-2026 school year. As part of this process, I am seeking input from our community regarding the qualities and characteristics the next principal should possess.


I invite you to attend a community input meeting on:

  • Thursday, May 8, at 6:00 p.m. District Office, 111 Barclay Blvd., Lincolnshire


Additionally, you are encouraged to complete an online principal interest form, which asks, "What characteristics do you believe are important for the next Principal of Laura B. Sprague School to possess?"


We are also seeking volunteers to serve on the interview committee. Interviews will take place during the week of May 12. If you are interested in participating, please indicate your interest through the principal interest form.

Board of Education Meeting

The next Board of Education meeting will occur at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 6. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Daniel Wright Junior High School for student achievement awards and then move to the district office afterward. The notice and agenda can be found on the District 103 Board meeting website page. D103 board meetings will be live-streamed each month on our YouTube Channel. Members of the community should attend the meeting at 111 Barclay Boulevard, Lincolnshire if they would like to make a public comment. The public can also contact the Board at board@d103.org.
