Your help is needed in getting our computers ready for the new school year by cleaning the interior and exterior surfaces of the devices as well as other tech-related tasks. Supplies will be provided.
If you haven't yet earned your 5 hours of Community Service with a previous Castle View Activity, please consider volunteering your time on Monday, August 5th, and Tuesday, August 6th from 9 am to 2 pm.
Sign Up at Community Service Opportunity at CVHS. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Harvey (vivian.harvey@dcsdk12.org)
Summer School Chromebook Checkouts
Students attending Summer School need to verify with their Counselors that their names have been added to the list for Summer School Chromebook Checkouts. If your name is not on the list, the school-issued Chromebook will be treated as an unreturned 23-24 device. Summer School Chromebook checkouts should be returned to our library no later than Friday, August 9th. Tech Items not returned by the due date will be disabled and students' accounts will be charged accordingly on Monday, August 12th.
ROAR (Regional Officers of Admissions of the Rockies) Summer Search Series 2024
2024 ROAR Summer College Search Series: these summer events are a great way to kickstart the college search. Each event features a 30-minute panel where college admissions experts answer your questions about the college search, financial aid, essays, and more! After the panel, visit the college fair to ask any questions you have about specific institutions in attendance.
Moving at the end of the school year?
Will you be moving at the end of the school year? If so, please email me at delana.hoogeboom@dcsdk12.org for your student's withdrawal form. Records will not be forwarded without a parent-signed withdrawal form and a completed student withdrawal form.
Next steps:
- A parent/guardian must complete and sign the withdrawal form.
- On the last day of attendance, the student will take the student withdrawal form to their teachers to receive a withdrawal grade and the teacher's signatures.
- All textbooks, library books, and Chrome books with charging cords must be returned to the library.
- Outstanding fees must be paid or cleared by the Bookkeeper.
- Students must turn in their school ID card and parking permit and clean their lockers.
Upon completing all steps, the student may obtain a copy of the withdrawal form, an unofficial transcript, and an immunization record for their new school.
