As we close out this incredible school year, I want to take a moment to thank our amazing students for filling our halls with joy, curiosity, learning, and zest every single day. It has been an absolute privilege to watch you grow, explore, and shine in so many ways.
To our families—thank you for trusting us with your children and being such vital partners in this educational journey. Your support, encouragement, and involvement make all the difference.
As we head into summer, I hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break. Keep reading, practice a little math, and most importantly—have fun! Spend time with family, laugh a lot, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
To our 5th graders—you are ready for this next chapter, and we are so proud of you. Best of luck in middle school! To all of our returning Panthers—I can't wait to welcome you back to SLE in August for another exciting year.

As we head into summer, mark your calendars for the 2025 Jeffco Back to School Bash, Saturday, August 9 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jeffco Stadium (500 Kipling St., Lakewood)
This free, family-friendly event brings together Jeffco students, families, staff, and community members before the start of the 2025-26 school year. Expect a day full of fun for the whole family, including yard games, face painting, craft stations, food trucks, live entertainment, community resources, and more.
