HOMECOMING 2024
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3 - HOMECOMING PARADE AND CORONATION
If you would like to participate in the parade, please fill out this PARADE ENTRY FORM Once the form is filled out you will receive a confirmation email. Only participants that filled out the form and received confirmation will be allowed in the parade.

Line up: 5:30 PM at Tiffin City Park off of Highway 6
Procession begins: 6:00 PM
*Parade Rules for a safe and fun event:
- All children (18 and under) who are participating in the parade must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the entire duration of the event. This includes students both on and off of the floats.
- Only participants who are walking in the parade are permitted to distribute candy.
- Candy that is distributed must be soft candy. NO HARD CANDY.
After the parade, please gather at the high school athletic complex for a pep rally and for the crowning of Homecoming 2024 Queen and King!
FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, OCTOBER 4TH - HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME
The Clippers host Burlington Friday, October 4th.
Freshmen Football: Starts at 5:00 PM
Presentation of the Homecoming Court, Queen, and King (with their families) will happen immediately after the freshmen football game.
Varsity Football: Starts at 7:30 PM

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5TH - HOMECOMING DANCE
This event is ONLY for Clear Creek Amana High School Students (9-12).
Doors Open: 7:50 PM
Dance: 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Tickets are $10 and can ONLY be purchased through Bound (as we are now cashless). There will be NO in person tickets for this event.

Last day to purchase a ticket will be Friday, October 4th by 3:30 PM.
Students will need to present BOTH their QR Code and their student ID upon arrival at the dance.

BLISS BECK RECEIVES GAZETTE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD
Bliss Beck, now a freshman at Drake University, received the Gazette Athlete of the year award during the CCA vs Williamsburg volleyball games.
Jeff Linder, a sports reporter for the Gazette presented a plaque to Bliss. He also gave Mr. Ronnfeldt the traveling trophy for the year and a banner will be hung in the High School gym.
In the 42 year history of this recognition, Bliss Beck is the first CCA athlete to receive this great honor!!
DIRECTOR SNOW AND STAFF VISITED NORTH BEND ELEMENTARY
Director Snow, with the Iowa Department of Education, and several members of her team visited North Bend Elementary to see literacy instruction being taught and visited with teachers with Letters training.
NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH IS SEPTEMBER 15 - OCTOBER 15
We want to recognize National Hispanic Heritage Month which is celebrated every year from September 15 through October 15.
This year's theme is "Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together," which celebrates past and present Hispanic trailblazers who drive positive change for a more inclusive future.

Fill out all information AND upload a picture of your pharmacy insurance card.

The day of your vaccine appointment:
- Arrive at the school on the selected date and time of your appointment.
- Please bring your pharmacy insurance card.
- All children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

SCHOOL OF THE WILD
Thank you Clear Creek Amana Schools Foundation for sponsoring our East Ridge Elementary 5th grade students, School of the Wild experience at F.W. Kent Park. The students had a great time learning out in nature for a week. Topics included Archaeology, Fishing, Wildlife, Hiking, and More!
