Lunch Menu
The Rebel Kitchen offers a Plant-Based Option everyday at Lunch. Breakfast is served everyday after 7:30 a.m. A friendly reminder that students must have money on their account in order to purchase a la carte items or additional lunches. All students receive one breakfast/lunch daily, free of charge.
Attention All Students
Reminder to all JH and HS students to get to their scheduled classes on time! If you accumulate 3 or more tardies in a week time span, you will be assigned a 1 hour after school detention on Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. This includes 1st hour attendance!
Reminder to all JH and HS students that if you do not attend a scheduled class without excuse, this will be considered an unexcused absence and skipped class. Any skipped classes will be assigned a 1 hour after school detention on Wednesday from 2:00 - 3:00 pm. This includes your Advisory class.
College and Career Fair - Monday October 28
- You don't have to know/decide your exact future path, but you are in control of exploring your options. Whether you're planning to go straight to college, trade school or work right after high school, the more you explore, the more options you will have to choose from. Even if you have selected your future path, gather as much information from other areas as you can!
- You know how Mr. Elliot loves a challenge! Your teachers will hand out your College & Career Fair Bingo card on Monday before you head down to the gym at your assigned time. Have your card signed by at least 12 vendors- you will be eligible for a prize- have it signed by 16 if you want to go BIG!
Turn in your card at the front table before you leave the gym.
Seniors- 9:00-9:45am
Juniors- 9:45-10:30am
Sophomores- 10:30- 11:15am
Freshman- 11:15-12:00pm
HS Cross Country
- Congratulations to the Lady Rebels cross country team on winning the Port Byron Regional, the first in school history! With the win the Lady Rebels advanced to Sectionals for the 9th consecutive year. Dusti Smith earned a medal for her 3rd place overall finish, with Cheyenh Smith and Alexis Martinez both delivering top 10 finishes. Outstanding work ladies.
- Congratulations to Rebels cross country runner Evan Knobloch for his second place finish and earning a medal for his performance. Evan qualified for Sectional as an individual, being only the second boys cross country runner to ever do so. Fantastic work Evan.

Seniors
Jostens will be back to pick up your graduation orders on Thursday, October 31st during Pride Time. Extra packets are available in the office.
Rebel Rally Towel
- Get your "Rebel Rally" Towels Now, just in time for our last regular season football game, the playoffs and all winter sports.
- Rebel Rally Towels are just $5.00 and available at the high school and during Junior/Senior High lunches Tuesday-Thursday.

Rebel of the Week
- This week's 8th grade Rebel of the Week is Chloe Herrington. Chloe is always engaged in class discussions, shares connections, and is organized in her work.
- The 6th grade Rebel of the Week is Mia Thompson. Mia is a silent leader who is always engaged and aware of what is going on in class. She is the definition of humble, a thoughtful student, and has a great smile!
- Congrats to both of you!
Rebel Recognition - Shout out to Kaimbrey S.
- Kaimbrey is the definition of #prideandexcellence. No matter the situation in class, she gives her all. She is a model for contributing positively to our class community and works diligently and respectfully with EVERYONE in our class.

Library News
- Come to the library to celebrate teen literacy and the last week of Teentober activities!
- So many books have been made into movies. Maybe your favorite movie was originally a book!
- Come in and see the "Books to Movie" displays for both the junior high and high school collections and check out a book that has been made into a movie!!
Library Bingo Challenge
Come in and pick up a bingo card for the library bingo! We've had many students pick up cards but not too many staff members! This is also a competition between students and staff for who will get the most bingos so come on guys! We need more staff members to participate.
We already have a few students who have completed bingo squares and filled out book review cards! So they are on their way to earning a bingo!
Contest ends on December 16
High School Parking
Please note details for HS Parking this school year. Students will not be allowed to park on Franklin St. or Prairie Ave. Additional parking is available in the additional HS lot and the new JH lot.
