Welcome Back West Side Families

Hello Everyone, we are so ready to welcome back all students back into the school building the week of August 9, 2021. If you have driven by the school recently you have probably noticed lots of work taking place. Much of our roof is being redone, and the classroom renovations that started last spring are still in progress. Every classroom in the building will eventually get new heating and cooling systems, new lighting, and best of all new furniture for the students!

In the fall we hope to have an Open House and show off much of what has been done. However, this project will last until the end of January 2022.

Please note we are taking lots of measures to keep students safe and secure during this project.

The Concord Transportation Department recently adopted a new parent transportation portal called 3D EZROUTING. Through this program, parents can download a mobile app called “BusQuest” that will keep families updated about routes, bus numbers, stop locations, scheduled stop times and more!

Registration is required for families of bus riders. To complete the registration process online, please CLICK HERE. If you would like assistance to complete this process, transportation staff will be set up in a mobile unit outside of the new Concord Transportation Center from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 13.

As we work to update routes, it is important that we have bus riders enrolled as soon as possible.

It is also important that your current contact information is on file with your child’s school. To update your contact information, including your email address and phone number, please CLICK HERE. This registration is for transportation only -- not to make changes to your child's Powerschool account or to register a new student.

If you have not registered your child for Kindergarten this year be sure to do so as soon as possible. If you know someone that needs to register please let them know as well.
