Principal's Message

Greeting families,

This past week we had the opportunity to come together as a community to hear about the PTO goals, plans, and impact. Thanks for participating and for sharing your ideas and feedback.

Also, this past Friday, we had a UTSW cardiology team led by two of our parents working with our students during what we called Bio Fridays. This magnificent group of professionals engaged our students in learning about the human heart and healthy habits. I hope you enjoy the pictures I uploaded to the Circle app as the event happened. This coming week, we will have a visit from the UTSW Biochemistry department.

As we discuss during the PTO event, the new school year application window is now open. So please, help us spread the word. Also, please apply if you have other children who would like to attend our campus.

Please join PTO and the Biomedical Preparatory Community for a Thanksgiving Family Picnic. Students can go through the lunch line and meet parents or family members for an outdoor picnic. Snacks will be available for purchase from the PTO.

Please bring blankets, chairs, or tents to sit comfortably outside.

Meet our School Based Clinician

We welcome Ms. Mitchell to the Biomedical Preparatory team! She is our school based clinician who will work with our students two times a week. Dallas ISD licensed clinicians work with students on social and emotional support. Please reach out to Ms. Maffucci at gmaffucci@dallasisd.org if you are interested in learning more or with her working with your student.
