Breakfast and Lunch Information for TK-5th Grade Students
ALL students in California schools are offered free breakfast, which is served during recess, and free lunch every day. Menus can be found on the school and district website and posted in the bulletin board outside the office.
Both meals are completely optional, and families continue to be welcome sending their children with a recess snack and lunch provided from home. Students who are eating breakfast will be able to enter school around 8:30.
Students must raise their hand during attendance in order to obtain breakfast or lunch each day and will be served food when they visit the cafeteria in the MPR. If they brought a lunch from home, they should plan on eating that and not raising their hand.
Students who raise their hands for a breakfast/lunch, will need to enter a unique pin code that tracks food service usage, and students are strongly encouraged to memorize their pin code to ensure the lines move quickly when visiting the cafeteria.
SPECIAL NOTE FOR TK/KINDER FAMILIES: Families may want to consider sending a snack and lunch packed from home at the beginning of the year for TK and Kindergarten students so they aren't overwhelmed with the process of visiting the cafeteria.

Our first bell, the "warning bell", rings at 8:45 AM. Students are expected to be in class at 8:50 AM. Students who arrive after 8:50 AM will need to report to the office to get a tardy slip.
