School Days

Hello Rodman Families,

We hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Friendly reminder that on Tuesday 11/5/24 there is NO SCHOOL for students. Educators will be engaging in professional development. Any questions, please let us know.

Also, for the month of November, the preschool is diving into literacy with an exciting new theme: Author's Study! This month, we are looking into the imaginative world of beloved children's author Anna Dewdney. Join us as we explore her enchanting stories and whimsical characters, sparking creativity and fostering a love of reading among our little learners.

Pumpkin Decorating Extravaganza

This week the Rodman Preschool staff participated in it's first annual 🔸Pumpkin Decorating Extravaganza🔸 contest. Students and staff had the opportunity to vote on their favorite pumpkin. #vote2024 From a spinning carousal to a gumball machine, staff did not disappoint on creativity! Congratulations Ms. Jenny, Ms. Betty, and Ms. Natalya for being this year's first place winner and Ms.O and Ms. Nicole being a very close second!

Book Highlight of the Week

"Llama Llama Misses Mama"

"Llama Llama Misses Mama" is a heartwarming children's book that follows the adorable llama character as he navigates feelings of separation anxiety. Young readers will relate to Llama Llama's emotions as he learns to cope with missing his mama while having fun and making new friends. With engaging illustrations and a comforting message about love and togetherness, this book is sure to resonate with both children and parents alike.

Absence/Tardy Reminder

To report your child absent, tardy, or leaving school early, please include the following three people in your email:

Please email by 9:15am and also include a reason for your child’s absence.

GMS Project

The Galvin Middle School Project is heading toward two key town votes. Save the Dates: November 18 Special Town Meeting and an Anticipated Ballot Vote on December 10.

The Galvin Middle School Project Team will be at the Sunday, October 20 Fall Fest at the Canton Farmers Market, and there will be a Community Forum at GMS on Wednesday, October 23 at 6:30 p.m.
