Financial Aid Session for High School Seniors
The Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority (MEFA) will host a virtual Financial Aid Offer Hotline event from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 to help college-bound students and their families understand financial aid offers. Each student/family will meet with a financial aid expert to walk through each college financial aid offer the student has received, calculate the estimated balance due at each school, and consider their options for paying the remaining college costs. Families can drop in virtually. Interested students and families can register online.

The members of Kristen Murphy's family would like to take this opportunity to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff members and students of the Ware Public School System who donated their time to make the benefit spaghetti supper an amazing event. They would also like to thank those that volunteered their time and those who donated to make the bake sale successful as well.
We would like to thank the people of the Town of Ware for coming out to show their support for this event. This was a true testament of what Kristen meant to the school system and our community. The outpouring of love and support that was shown to our family that night was truly amazing. It just showed our family what a big part of the community that Kristen was. She would have loved all the gracious support that was shown by everyone that attended and helped.
As a family, we cannot express to everyone how much we appreciated all the love and support during this time. Once again, we would like to say Thank You to everyone.

District Report Card
Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. The report card is designed to show how our schools are doing in different areas.
Why Should I Look at the Report Card?
The report card includes multiple measures of a school's performance, more than just MCAS scores. It represents a new way of looking at school performance by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities and more.
How Can the Information be Used?
Families can use the information to have meaningful conversations about what the school is doing well and where there is room for improvement. Community and education leaders can use the information to better understand how to support students and our school.
Where Do I Access the Report Cards?

Food Services
The Ware Public Schools Food Service Department provides a comfortable and encouraging environment in which nutritious and wholesome meals are offered. A well-balanced diet is essential for growing children and teenagers, so we design each meal to include all major food groups. Our meals provide the nutrients students need to focus on academics and to perform their best.
Ware Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Monthly menus can be found on our website at https://www.wareps.org/for_parents/food_services
