Below is a list of resources that offer reading programs for the summer. Send Mrs. Treadway one of the completed reading challenges below before the first day of school, August 26, 2024, to receive a prize. You can send a picture through dojo or email or make a copy!

You may not be able to check out books at Brier Creek, but here are plenty of other places for excellent reading!

Davidson County Public Library

Davidson County Public Library is a wonderful place for summer reading! You can drop by any of the their five county locations or use their large online reading resources. All it takes is a library card! Don't forget to take advantage of their summer reading fun. Call 336-474-2690 or stop by the library to register for their Pirate themed summer reading kickoff on June 15th.

Below is a list of free or low cost online platforms that offer ebooks!

NC Digital Library for Kids is a free resource as long as you have a public library card or your Student Access login(username and password is your school lunch number).
