Beautiful Day of Service!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all who helped with our SALT Day of Service! Our students put their service learning into practice all over the city Friday! From Caring for God’s Creation to Promoting Human & Civil Rights, know that our school community is making an impact. Not only are our children learning to serve God through service to others, but we are helping sow seeds of kindness in their hearts so that they grow into lifelong servant leaders. Highlights to come, but do go ahead and talk to your child about what they saw, learned, and how they served. They will be so excited to share!

Yearbook Orders and Call for Photos
Our 2021-22 CSSE Yearbook is in development! Order now to secure your own full color, hardback book of school memories! Each copy costs $20 and will be billed through FACTS. Do not wait to order. There will not be many extras available. The yearbook will arrive before the end of the school year so students get a chance to collect signatures. Link to order will close after April 10th.
Also, if you lead any of our St. Eugene students on a team, in a club, etc, please send a group photo to yearbook@steugeneschool.org. Include the activity and grade level (if applicable) in the subject line of your email. Make sure you are sharing a high quality photo (should be in MBs, not KBs).
Time & Talent Requirements
Our Time and Talent program requires each family to contribute 30 hours of service to the school. Only 20 hours are needed for single parent families. Grandparents can earn hours for their children's families, however you must indicate which grandchild's family you are working for in each particular instance. Students may earn up to 10 hours of their family’s obligation, provided it is for an approved and qualifying volunteer opportunity.

National School Library Month
April is National School Library Month! Students are invited to enter Mrs. Hattaway’s bookmark design contest. Students may submit one design using the linked template, and return it to Mrs. Hattaway by April 8th. We will vote on the winners the following week. The top designs will be printed and given out in the school library!
Did you know our school library is open to school families as well as students and staff? You are welcome to stop by the library when you are in the building and set up an account with Mrs. Hattaway.
Keep Selling Those Raffle Tickets!
Our gala committee is raffling off a $5,000 cash prize OR a year’s free tuition for one student (up to $5,000) - winner’s choice! We are asking each school family to sell at least 10 tickets to help raise money for our school and parish community. Tickets cost $10 each. Checks may be made out to "St. Eugene Gala." Winner will be announced at the gala on April 22nd. They need not be present to win.
If you sell all of your tickets and need more, please contact Jennifer Taylor or ask in the school office. Money and tickets can be turned in any time, but must be turned in to the school office no later than April 21st!
As an added incentive for the kids, our top ticket seller will receive a $300 gift card to Amazon or Target. Our 2nd and 3rd place sellers will each receive a $100 gift card to Amazon or Target! Any class that has 100% participation (all students in class selling all 10 tickets) gets a Sonic drink party!
Last year we sold $19,000 in raffle ticket sales. If our school can sell $15,000 this year, the whole school will earn a Free Dress Day!

We currently are in need of delivery drivers to deliver meals one Monday per month. We also need substitute drivers who could help as needed. If you are interested in helping, please call or text Peggy Berringer at 405-473-9928.
