NES 10/28/24 Family Newsletter
10/28/24
Dear NES Families,
Thank you for the support in donating candy and attending our Spooktacular this week! We have heard great things from students and families. We are so happy that everyone had a good time!
Our new t-shirts are in! If you placed a PREORDER, your student's shirt is available for pick up upon receipt of payment. We are excited to see our new logo for the school spirit day on Friday during Red Ribbon Week! We will work on an additional order for anyone who did not preorder. Please keep an eye out for that information in future communications.
If your student is participating in Battle of the Books, the book, "The Cursed Moon" has been removed from the 4th grade list for the competition. The book has not been banned, it was replaced with "Beatrice Zinker."
For Red Ribbon week, students are encouraged to dress up for spirit days, but must still follow appropriate dress codes and not include full face masks or weapons.
Congratulations to our students of the week and all of our students who received academic awards for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade!
GOOOOO TIGERS!!!
Warm regards,
Mrs. Jessica Lowe, Principal
Mrs. Heather Briney, Assistant Principal
