Reading with the Gamecocks!

It's that time of year again to celebrate reading with Part One of the USC Reading with the Gamecocks literacy program. All students who read between October 11 -25, 2024 and turn in a reading log by October 29, 2024 will receive a voucher for two tickets (one student, one guardian) to one Gamecock men’s basketball game and one Gamecock women’s basketball game in January/February 2025.

All reading logs will be sent home by the homeroom teachers and can be downloaded from the Reading with Gamecocks website.

Let's read and go to the Men's and Women's Basketball games this season...Go Gamecocks!

Books that become movies are real "treats" in the month of October! Come by the media center and pick up a good book today!

Read 3, Get one Free! (3rd-5th graders)

Don't miss out on your chance to get a free book! Simply read 3 South Carolina Children's Book Award Nominees, fill out a quick reader's response form for each one and get a free book after you ring our library gong!

SCPBA Reading Challenge

All Third grade students can get a free book by participating and reading in the Third Grade Reading Challenge. Check out which books are on the list by checking out this poster. Every time you read 3 of the books and complete the quick reader's response form for each one and you will get a free book and a celebratory gong ceremony!
