Sophomores will head to Angelo State University on Thursday, April 24.

Freshmen will tour Howard Payne University on Friday, April 25.

8th grade will be touring the campus of Angelo State University on May 7.

Wednesday, April 23--Algebra I EOC and 8th grade Social Studies STAAR

Wednesday, April 30--3rd-8th grade Math STAAR

PreK-2nd grade will be going to the Abilene Zoo on April 30.

Just a few dress code reminders as we head into Spring:

* Bangs must be above the eyebrows.

* Students must be clean-shaven.

* Shorts and skirts for secondary students may be no shorter than 5 inches above the knee when standing up straight.

* Shorts and skirts for elementary students must be fingertip length when standing up straight.

* When wearing tight fitting spandex/leggings, the shirt or top must follow the above guidelines (5 inches above knee for secondary students and fingertip length for elementary).

* If there are holes or tears higher than 5 inches above the knee in jeans/pants, leggings must be worn underneath.

* Shirts/tops must cover the abdomen at all times.

The Elementary Color Run will be on Friday, April 25 at 3:00 on the practice field. Please have students wear clothes that can be sprayed with color. Parents are invited.

One of our goals is to expose our students to career opportunities they may never have considered. Over the next few weeks, we will have several presenters coming in including:

Forest Rangers

Stormchasers

Helicopter pilots

Zookeepers

Entrepreneurs

Good luck to Cassey Castleberry, Moses Lozano, and Emilee Torres who will be competing at the UIL Regional Academic Tournament at ASU on Saturday, April 26.

The 2025/2026 cheerleaders will meet on Tuesday, April 22 at 9:00 am to have fittings for their cheer uniforms. All junior high and high school cheerleaders will attend the fitting.

The 4th - 12th grade bands will be performing their annual Spring concert on Monday, April 28 at 6:00 pm.
