National Career Development Month is a month-long campaign that emphasizes the significance of career development and planning. It aims to educate and inspire individuals to explore career options, set goals, and make strategic decisions about their professional futures.

National Career Development Month elevates the need for comprehensive career guidance and support. It is endorsed by career development organizations, educational institutions, and professionals who are dedicated to helping individuals make informed career choices.

You can celebrate National Career Development month by hosting workshops, webinars, and events to increase students’ awareness of the multitude of career options available to them. • November 6 is National Stress Awareness Day. National Stress Awareness Day is dedicated to raising awareness about the effects of stress on physical and mental health. This day encourages individuals to recognize stress and manage it in healthy ways, emphasizing the importance of self-care and stress-reduction techniques. It serves as a reminder to prioritize mental well-being, minimize stressors, and seek support when necessary.

NCDA promotes career development through its annual celebration of National Career Development Month. Every November, career development professionals are encouraged to celebrate with career related activities. In particular, NCDA sponsors an annual Poetry and Art Contest.

November 2024 is National Career Development Month.

November 11-15 is National Career Development Week.

November 13 is National Career Development Day.

The theme is, CREATING MY CAREER PATH: EMBRACING CHANGE IN MY JOURNEY
