And now, a word from our teachers across the school...
iReady Celebration
April 17th was iReady success celebration day. Students who reached goals on their iReady diagnostic got to enjoy Chick-Fil-A, shaved ice, an outdoor obstacle course, the canteen, and 44 minutes of outdoor fun.
8th Grade Science
In March, 8th grade science students made pens based on their genetics project. This hands-on project was very engaging for all students. They got to see a demonstration of how individuals within a population have a variety of traits when they reproduce sexually vs. all individuals being identical when asexual reproduction occurs
Art: Spring Fling Dance Decorations
Each year, our visual art students design and create all the decorations for the Spring Fling Dance. This year’s theme is Sugary Wonderland, featuring delightful elements like candy, cupcakes, and ice cream cones. Students are using materials such as cardboard, pool noodles, spray paint, and glitter to craft these fun decorations, which are mostly three-dimensional and life-sized. The art department is excited to transform the J-E-T gymnasium into a magical sugary wonderland for this sweet event on Friday, May 9.
