We used one of our new flat screen televisions to promote Banned Books Week. We are very happy with the result. We just have to get the other to synchronize and we will have double the fun!

Our collection of 125 eBooks is finally available for viewing from home and on campus. From home use the EGUSD portal to access Library Resources. Choose the Destiny Discover icon. Navigate to the Destiny Discover catalog and either search eBook titles or choose titles under eBooks at the bottom of the Destiny Discover search page. On-campus, search titles of eBooks in the Classic catalog. Once you've located a title you'd like to view, click on it. You will be prompted for a user name and password. Our username is: guest and the password is: 95624.

This will allow you to open the title of the eBook. eBooks return to the collection after 20 minutes of inactivity. In the future all staff and students will have library accounts they can access to check out eBooks. Watch the accompanying video that demonstrates how to navigate our eBooks.

Google Classroom now checks students work for originality through Google Classroom. Both teachers and students can run a report to get feedback as to how much of the report is original. Students get three "chances" to share check their work for originality before submitting it to the teacher. A teacher can check the originality of an assignment (Google doc) submitted by a student in Google Classroom. Watch the accompanying video tutorial that explains it all. This is life changing for Language Arts teachers!
