A message from our Principal Mr. Felten
Dear Yeti Families,
It is hard to believe that we are in February already and I am still trying to figure out the unpredictable weather. I hope everyone is off to a great 2024 year and creating new routines that inspire your children. I know students and staff are focused, inspired and determined to make incredible growth this quarter and beyond. Thank you for your support and belief in Reunion as we continue to strive to be better for your students each day.
Parents, we need everyone’s help in promoting attendance. Our school attendance goal for this school quarter is 95% and I know we can reach it. Every day matters and therefore, we are asking for your help in reaching our goal.
Next week on February 14th we will be having Valentine activities throughout the day. Please be looking for information from your classroom teacher if volunteers or items are needed for different activities.
On behalf of the entire Reunion staff, I want to thank everyone for your support. We are so grateful for your dedication, commitment, and generosity you provide to the students and staff at Reunion each day. Together, we are stronger and as a result, the Reunion students continue to CLIMB and reach their potential!

"Beauty is Being Yourself"
Dear Yeti Families,
We are THRILLED to announce our Annual Yeti Girl’s Event –
BARBIE BASH - "Beauty is Being Yourself!"
- A special event for our Yeti Girls + 1 Special Guest
- STUDENTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT GUEST FOR THE ENTIRE EVENT
Please join us on Friday, February 16th from 5:45 – 8 pm.
We are asking that girls and their guests enter through the front door(s), and that you check in at one of the check-in tables set up in the hallway.
This Bash is exclusively for our Yeti Girls and their Dads or Special Guests. This is your daughter's night to be ANYTHING - astronaut, chef, president, doctor, the possibilities are endless! Let your dreams SHINE and dress up as your favorite Barbie as you dance the night away! There will also be Snacks (No Dinner).
*Please limit 1 adult per student
Doors Open at 5:45pm
You may purchase tickets in advance at a discounted rate anytime before 3:00 PM on February 16th.
$10 for a couple (Yeti Girl + their 1 guest)
$3 for each additional Yeti Girl
Your ticket price includes everything you will need for the evening!
***Prices will increase to $15 per couple and $5 for an additional Yeti Girl at the door.

◼️ NO Door Dashing or Uber Eats can be sent to the school for students. Many times it does not arrive at the correct time for the student to eat and they miss out on eating time and recess.
◼️ If you are dropping lunch off for your student it needs to be in the office at least 5 min before their lunch time so they can be called down to the office to get it.
◼️ WE DO NOT HAVE STUDENT MICROWAVES AVAILABLE.
◼️ If you want to have lunch with your student that is totally fine, please make sure to check in at the office and bring an ID.

Drop off reminders
Drop off Reminders
If your student is arriving to school after 7:50 they MUST be dropped off in the front of the building and go through the office. Please walk in with your student to sign them in so their tardy is excused.
Please remind your child if they walk, ride a bike or get dropped off on the street to use the crosswalk areas to cross the street and not run between cars. Please remind your students to walk bikes at crosswalks and on school grounds. We have crossing guards at intersections around the school to help with a safe crossing.
How to excuse an absence

If your student is going on a vacation or on an extended leave please call the office ahead of time to let us know.
School hours

In the morning, students coming for breakfast will be let in at 7:30 through the front door. For students not eating breakfast, doors will open at 7:45. Attendance will be taken at 7:50. Students entering class after this point, will be marked tardy. We ask that you please have your student arrive on time and ready to start the day! Attendance is very important!!
Picking up your student early?

If you are picking up your student early we are not able to call them down from their classrooms until an adult is present in the building to sign them out. Please come to the front door, ring the doorbell and come inside and sign your student out with us at the front desk. Be sure to bring a photo ID with you in order to check out your child.

Make sure your Yeti is coming to school with appropriate outside gear. We do go outside for recess when it is above 20 degrees, dependent on Snow, Rain and Wind.
