September 9th: Late Start Monday, School begins at 10:00

September 11th: Running Club starts (Permission slips must be signed before students can attend)

September 13th: Spirit Wear orders due

September 22nd: Elk Ridge Choir performing at Tacoma Rainiers, 1:35

October 3rd: Picture Day

We have had an amazing first week of school so far, and today we get to cap it with welcoming our Kindergarten students to Elk Ridge! Students have spent much of the week learning behavior expectations and establishing relationships and routines in their new classrooms.

A reminder that we have a late start on Mondays and school begins at 10:00am. Busses will run one hour later as well. Monday mornings at Elk Ridge, our staff have dedicated time to review student learning from the previous week and make plans to improve instruction and learning for the upcoming week. Our school is nationally recognized for this work and we appreciate our community's continued support in our efforts to ensure high levels of learning for all students.

Reminder ANNUAL STUDENT INFORMATION UPDATE is required to be completed as soon as possible.

Each year, we ask parents and guardians to update their student(s) information. It is critical for communication from the district and buildings to have correct phone numbers, and emails. We are also asking you to update health information, housing information, and more.

Please take 5 minutes to complete the digital documents on Family Access to ensure accurate information. Please log on to Skyward Family Access (link to Skyward) and click on “2024-25 Annual Student Information Update”.

If you do not know your Family Access login/password, please contact your child’s school:

Please update student/family demographic information, emergency information & contacts, health history, student race/ethnicity, student housing questionnaire, military status, home internet, and family language preferences.

*Important* Please fill out the Health History form entirely. Even if your child has something as simple as "seasonal allergies" or "headaches' we need this information in order to assess them for illness. If you have no health concerns for your child at this time please mark the "No” for “Does your student have any health concerns”.
