Erica Benzie-Attendance Clerk
Written by Mari Mendoza
Joining the Spartan family in 2016, Mrs. Benzie is one of the two Attendance Accountants here at Villa Park High School. Graduating from Arcadia High School, Mrs. Benzie was heavily involved in cheerleading. Mrs. Benzie's passion for education extended well before her work with Villa Park, being previously employed as an Aide at Canyon Rim Elementary in Anaheim Hills. Throughout her seven-year tenure, Mrs. Benzie's favorite Villa Park memory is seeing one of her favorite students, Oscar Martinez. But out of all the students here at VP, Mrs. Benzie's favorite student is her son, Gavin; who also shares the very same affection for his mother on campus.
Erica Wilson-Attendance Clerk
After graduating from Lakewood High School, Mrs. Wilson was involved in both cheerleading and student government. Following high school, she attended California State University, Long Beach where she majored in Child Development. Mrs. Wilson has always had a passion for students, being previously employed as a Secretary at Cerro Villa Middle School. Joining the Spartan family in 2020, Mrs. Wilson now works for Villa Park as one of our Attendance Accountants, ensuring that student attendance is up to date. Mrs. Wilson’s favorite memory is meeting one of our students, Oscar Martinez.
